For the second consecutive summer, CAT is hosting 12 aspiring young professional women from the United Arab Emirates for a whirlwind, two-week living and learning experience.
MA Students to Rwanda
On July 14, Chris Vine, Helen White, and a corps of students in the SPS/CAT MA in Applied Theatre departed for Rwanda to begin implementing a pilot program called “Drama and Theatre Education in Schools for Reconciliation and Development in Rwanda.” They will be blogging – click here to see what they are up to.
NYS DOH Awards a New 5-Year Grant to CAT
CAT has been awarded one of only two multi-borough contracts from the NYS Department of Health AIDS Institute for a new five-year project that will begin in June.
2010 NYC Student Shakespeare Festival
CAT’s 17th Annual NYC Student Shakespeare Festival was the biggest yet: 26 groups – 30 teachers and 500 students from 19 schools – performed at the legendary Lucille Lortel Theatre in Greenwich Village on April 28th, 29th, 30th, and May 4th.
