CAT’s MSLI programs in 10 NYC middle schools begin in a few weeks.
The first group of 20 CHANGE Agents is on board!
Students from York and Medgar Evers Colleges, selected after a lengthy audition/interview process, convened on September 17 for their first training session at CAT.
Enrollment is open for the 18th Annual NYC Student Shakespeare Festival.
Each participating class receives 15 hours of teacher professional development in student-centered Devising and Directing Shakespeare workshops; 3 classroom visits by CAT Shakespeare Festival teaching artists; and participation in the Festival at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, one of New York's premiere Off-Broadway playhouses, in early April.
CAT Summer Workshops
CAT’s summer workshops for educators, youth workers, and teaching artists conclude with Drama for Youth Financial Literacy on August 3 and Drama as Antidote for Youth Violence on August 5. These one-day interactive learning experiences provide a unique grounding in CAT’s proven learner-centered strategies. For information and registration, click here.
