Enrollment is open for the 18th Annual NYC Student Shakespeare Festival.
Each participating class receives 15 hours of teacher professional development in student-centered Devising and Directing Shakespeare workshops; 3 classroom visits by CAT Shakespeare Festival teaching artists; and participation in the Festival at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, one of New York's premiere Off-Broadway playhouses, in early April.

CAT Summer Workshops
CAT’s summer workshops for educators, youth workers, and teaching artists conclude with Drama for Youth Financial Literacy on August 3 and Drama as Antidote for Youth Violence on August 5. MA Students to Rwanda
On July 14, Chris Vine, Helen White, and a corps of students in the SPS/CAT MA in Applied Theatre departed for Rwanda to begin implementing a pilot program called “Drama and Theatre Education in Schools for Reconciliation and Development in Rwanda.” They will be blogging – click here to see what they are up to.
